A refreshing extra pale session ale, brewed using Sussex spring water, extra pale malts and an indecent amount of zesty, floral, oh so delicious hops. A great session beer you will find yourself drinking time and again. Works well with seafood, mild cheese and lighter dishes such as salads.
Description
Brewed at Gun Hill, on a beautiful 140 acre organic mixed farm in the Sussex Weald. The farm has a history of hop growing and some survive to this day in the hedgerows.
Gun Brewery spent a year refitting their barn and installing all the equipment themselves, before selling their first pint in January 2015. In making their beer they aim to tread lightly on their surroundings. They generate much of their own power from a 15kw solar array; heating from a wood powered boiler and even the spent grain keeps the local livestock happy.
All the water used for brewing comes from their own spring source, deep below the organically farmed land. The water is microfiltered and UV treated to ensure its purity without the need for chemicals. It’s delicious and great for brewing.
