Large White Sourdough Bread


A freshly stone-ground White Sourdough. The flour is made from Organic White Wheat grains grown in Britain. Fermento Bakery freshly mill the grains in small batches.  The dough then goes through a slow fermentation process which improves nutrients’ bioavailability, making them easier for the body to absorb.  The bread is baked in a wood-fire oven using local oak, pine and birch logs.

Made using local, organic flours. This amazing bread goes through a 19-hour process of fermentation. The wild yeast in the sourdough starter neutralises the phytic acid as the bread proves through the acidification of the dough. This prevents the mineral-block effects of the phytic acid and makes the bread easier for us to digest. It also tastes fantastic!
